Using Your Hands + Intuition to Level Up on LinkedIn
Practical advice from a hand analyst and former recruiter
Most people treat LinkedIn like a digital résumé.
But what if it could be more than that?
What if it became a mirror of your true gifts, a platform where your skills and your soul aligned?
As a former corporate recruiter turned certified hand analyst, I’ve helped hundreds of professionals navigate career changes. And what I’ve learned is this:
🔑 The key isn’t just optimizing your profile.
It’s aligning your energy—starting with your hands.
A quick note : Everything in your hands are intrinsically combined to form the whole of you. This post (and others like it) exist as a jumping off point to help you dive into a deeper understanding of the pragmatic use of palmistry in your professional life.
Step 1: Look at Your Hands Before You Log In
Your dominant hand shows your current career energy. Take a quiet moment and study it.
Do you see a strong Mercury mount (under your pinky)? You’re here to communicate. Let that shine in your posts. Mercury is about communication and commerce. Your Mercury finger and the lines leading to and away from it, also gives insight into our ability to trust others (and ourselves) as well as our ability to build trust and connection using our communication skills.
Is your Jupiter mount (under the pointer finger) pronounced? Step into a leadership voice. Jupiter is the Roman counterpart to Zeus. In either Pantheon he's not to be messed with. Bringing in your Jupiter energy is asking you to determine what makes someone a good leader. Your Jupiter finger and mount can help you discern if you are ready to be the person at the podium or if your preference for being behind the curtain is helping or hindering your career path.
A short heart-line (this line is the upper most horizontal line, beginning under the pinky and aiming toward the mount of Jupiter or the middle finger, Saturn). Your heart-line isn't just about love! A short and straight one indicates someone who likes to get the job done with clear focus and few distractions. If you have one of these you may be prone to staying in a job longer than you should because you've gotten comfortable.
What feels most “alive” in your hand is often what’s ready to be shared online.
Step 2: Use Your Intuition to Rethink Your Headline
Forget job titles for a second.
Close your eyes and ask:
“What do I actually help people do?”
“What part of me is asking to be seen now?”
Write down what comes through—before your inner critic kicks in.
It's important that your headline is searchable for recruiters, but that doesn't mean it can't contain a little of what makes you, well, you.
Start with your job title (the one you have not the one you aspire to) and your industry. (Marketing Manager | Home Services Industry).
Now use your intuition to determine what sets you apart from every other marketing manager on LinkedIn.
(Marketing Manager | Home Services Industry | Increasing SEO visibility in Key Markets by 30%).
Your intuition is important here because if you don't want to be focused on SEO in your next role, you'll need to lean into where you're being called to focus.
Step 3: Make Your ‘About’ Section a Story
Your Saturn Line traces your career journey. So should your LinkedIn summary. Your Saturn line starts near the base of your palm and makes its way, vertically, toward your middle finger.
Is your Saturn line straight and deep? You have known what you wanted to be "when you grew up" as long as you can remember. A Saturn line that curves and stops and starts? Your journey has had lots of twists and turns - maybe due to life changes or maybe due to following your instincts, either way:
Don’t be afraid to tell a before-and-after story:
Where were you when you started?
What challenge did you overcome?
What do you care most about now?
People remember humanity, not perfection. Let your real voice do the talking.
Final Tip: Trust the Posts That Call You
Use LinkedIn to be visible. Yes. The algorithm (and the recruiters) care how often you're active on LinkedIn. And it tracks what you're sharing, where and with whom. So don't push yourself to show up every day and hit "like" on a dozen posts.
Instead, schedule time each week (use your Saturn line to help you create a system that works for you) to show up, read and interact with others on the platform. Add value, not noise. And when you feel the intuitive nudge to share your thoughts or opinions on something related to your niche, be sure to follow it.
🔮 Your hands carry your blueprint. LinkedIn is just the channel.
The more you align the two, the more your career reveals itself—not just as a job, but as a path.

Hi Peggie, the link to schedule didn't work for me. I'm not a paid subscriber so perhaps that's it? Thanks!
